64) Is there some new activity or service that APCUG can offer user groups?

We liked that advertising program through APCUG and HAL.
How about APCUG offering an Internet service.
More regional representatives. Our region, 7, only has two reps. One is in Phoenix and the other is in California. Tucson has nothing to do with either place and we tend to not feel any close ties with APCUG.
I like the idea of a CD of shareware we could sell as a fund-raiser.
When a group signs up, a contact should be made. I know that it is the personal attention that has retained our membership when others are declining.

Send out in the mailings or email, a list of vendors(hardware/softwware) and their specials for the month or the quarter for user groups only.

A list of good vendors to come in and present
1) Is there a way to locate presenters / UG friendly vendors through the web site? If not, that would be helpful. 2) Have as much on the web as possible - it's easier to access.

Vendor mixers where, group presidents or program chairs could meet and set up presentations and programs with these vendors in person.
More software reviews.
Training

Newsletter prionting service or negotiate some discounts for user groups to print at Kinko's, etc. Another benifit would to hit up places like Circuit City and Best Buys to give User Group Members a discount. With your national numbers, you could really get their attention!
New activity: invoicing (by e-mail or by mail) for APCUG annual dues.
Two comments about this survey: some of my answers, such as to question 30, were guesses. Also, question 16 asked for the scope of our group. The answer that I chose was PC/DOS. Our scope is actually PC, not DOS, but you combined the two answers.
